Securefast plc over the past few years have invested in people, ensuring that they can provide experience, knowledge and have qualifications to be able to support and help their customers.

Duncan Crawley, the MD, is a holder of the Diploma of Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (Dip GAI) and was a Bronze Medal Winner in 1985, with vast experience in the Access Control market. During 2008 - 2010 Duncan has been Chairperson of the Doors & Hardware Federation (DHF) Management Committee which plays an active role in supporting the door and hardware manufacturing companies in the UK.

Kevin O'Reilly joined the organization as Technical Director in 2008, is also qualified as a Dip GAI, is a member of the Institute of Architectural Ironmongers, sits on the Technical, Alliance and Standards Committee of the DHF and is involved with the GAI for marking and setting examination and course work.

Kevin's knowledge, experience and qualifications in Engineering, Quality, Sales and Marketing are helping the company to ensure that they provide quality products, tested to the current standards and are supported by a technical team that can support the customers' needs.

Ian Scott, is the Sales Director, with many years experience in the lock industry, having been a Director of a major Architectural Ironmonger, before joining Securefast plc in 2001. Ian's knowledge and contacts in the industry helped the company establish new lock ranges under the Securefast brand.

David Balmforth, adds strength to the team as Sales Manager, having worked for a leading manufacturer and distributor in the security industry. With Ian looking after the customers involved with Mechanical Security, David supports the Electrical Security customers in the UK.

To support the team Kellie Sandys, also a Dip GAI, and Office Manager at Southport, heads the Tele-Sales and Technical Team, with qualified engineers, who are also qualified to Dip GAI. Kellie and her team are well respected in the industry for their knowledge and support to their customers. Able to assist customers, and their customers, with any issues concerning Fire and Security products from advising and recommending products to technical support and installation advice, Kellie and the staff at Southport are always on hand to offer a specification and scheduling services.
